Savute Elephant Camp is situated on the Savute Channel in the Chobe National Park, overlooking the nearby watering hole for the local elephants. The Chobe National Park is considered to be the home of the elephants in Botswana, because they are highly concentrated in this area.
The camp is made up of 12 canvas tents with a thatched canopy overhead. All tents have a perfect view of the watering hole; each perched on a wooden deck ideal for one's own private view of the animals as they pass by.
The camp provides the following facilities:

Children over 8 years old are welcome to the camp. It is, however, a camp requirement that children between 8 and 12 years share accommodation with an adult and take private game activities.
- Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to arrival will incur 100% of the cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made two to four weeks prior to arrival will incur 75% of the cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made four to 12 weeks prior to arrival will incur 50% of the cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made more than 12 weeks prior to arrival will incur 20% of the cancellation charges.
